Towner Art Gallery & Museum

I've just found this in my drafts! Sorry folks. I've since been back 3 times and each time has been great. J enjoyed a couple of workshops over the summer holidays - lovely staff and all free! Here's the original post...

New Year's resolution #1: do more interesting stuff.

New Year's resolution #2: revive blog.

Today I shall achieve both! I bought Ben an Eric Ravilious book for his birthday in the summer and we both really enjoy his artwork, local connections and life story. Somewhere in my brain I knew that the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne had a collection of his work so we headed over, with a little uncertainty about whether or not this was a good idea with a 3 month old and 3 year old. However it quickly became clear that it's a very family friendly place. J enjoyed some arts and crafts whilst we enjoyed the exhibitions (although not at the same time - no babysitting service provided!).

J enjoying the arts and crafts table.

Rare and refreshing to see - baby changing facilities in the gents too!
